- A selection of top European sailors that Sandiline work with -

Ivan Kljaković Gaspić (CRO). Currently ranked 4th on the ISAF world sailing ranking list for the Finn class, at only 26 he has already achieved some impressive results. His goal is, of course, to win an Olympic gold medal. Here are some of his best results: Optimist European Champion 1998, Silver Medal Junior Worlds Laser Class 2002, European Junior Champion Laser 2003, European and World Junior Champion Finn Class 2005, silver medal Finn Europeans 2007, silver medal Finn Europeans 2008, bronze medal at the Finn gold cup 2009 & winner of Finn Europeans 2009 & 2010.

Tonći Stipanović (CRO): Second place at Optimist class World championship in 1999; World Champion in 2002 in Laser 4.7; European & World junior Champion in the Laser Radial class in 2003; Second place at European & World junior Championships in Laser Standard in 2004; Second place at European Laser Radial Championship 2005; Silver medal at the Mediterranean games in Pescara 2009, & overall third place in the World Cup in Laser Standard Class. In 2010 Tonči became European champion in the Laser Standard class.

Gašper Vinčec (SLO): For the last five years he has been one of the best Finn class sailors in the world. He won two world cup races (2005, 2007), came second once (2008) and third twice (2005, 2008). He came third at the 2008 World Championships in Cascaisu (Portugal), won the bronze medal at the 2005 European Championships, finished 4th at the European Championships, three times consecutively (2006-2008) and finished 7th at the Beijing Olympics. Gas helps us a lot with the development of sailing gear. He is very critical and explains very well what sailors need. After a year mostly dedicated to his family, he is more motivated than ever now because he's got a strong rival (Vasilij Žbogar) for the 2012 Olympic Finn class Olympic qualification.

Vasilij Žbogar (SLO): His motto in Istrian dialect is "Krepat, krepat ma ne molat!" ("you can die but don't give up!"). This probably the best way to describe his greatest qualities of determination and persistence. Vasco is one of Slovenia's most successful and popular sportsman of the last decade. With third place at the 2004 Olympics in Athens he won Slovenia's first sailing Olympic medal. In Beijing 2008 he made one step forward by winning the silver medal in the last race. His legendary celebrations, enthusiasm and kind character make him very popular not only in his home town of Izola (where he is "a god") and Slovenia, but also among other sailors and the opposite sex (in 2004 he was selected as Cosmopolitan's European sportsman of the year). In 2009 he decided to switch from Laser to Finn Class. Sandiline have been working with Vasilij from when they were first involved in sailing.

The Sandiline Philosophy

Sandiline - The Company:

'It all started out of love for water, sports and adventure – Slovenian windsurfing pioneers back in the 1980s.

After more than 20 years in the business; passion and individuality are still the main driving forces at Sandiline, who still develop and produce their exacting gear in their own facilities in Slovenia.

In order to perform under the most demanding of uses and conditions, Sandiline products are carefully designed by experts and tested by top-class athletes and  professional users before they go to market.

All told Sandiline has made  sailing and kayak gear for more than 90 athletes from 27 different nations.

Each participant has received specific gear for their special needs and environmental conditions, from heavy waters on the wild water channels to the steamy sultry weather of hot Asian seas.'
